Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Diesel Equipment and or Class 8 Truck or willing to learn industry is a must
  • Previous experience in industry is a plus
  • Able to work with diverse customer base
  • Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding and professional customer service
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment

Ideal Candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

  • Answer incoming phone calls – transfer calls to appropriate department or person for resolution (take messages when necessary)
  • Greet Customers when entering Dealership, display friendly or courteous attitude
    • Direct customers to appropriate individuals
    • Answer basic customer questions
  • Cashier Customer Paid Work Orders, Counter tickets and process payments on accounts made locally
  • Open / close work orders for the Service Dept.
  • Input Data into Business System and Service Software to
    • Track Completion of Work
    • Ensure Proper billing of consumable items used
    • Write / Edit work order notes prior to invoices being approved by Service Mgr. and invoiced to customers
  • Create and maintain files and forms for all DOT inspections that are performed
  • File Completed invoices following established guidelines
  • Run routine reports daily
  • Batch labor reports and add labor to appropriate work orders daily
  • Manage deposits of petty cash – process bank deposits of petty cash
  • Receive and Distribute incoming mail and branch mail
  • Maintain Appearance of work area
  • Purchase and manage office supplies and operational supplies through established vendors
  • Process IN / OUT tickets on equipment returning or leaving on Rent
    • In / Out ticket is completed after basic visual inspection
    • Machine hours verified
    • Fuel Level Verified
  • Assist Sales Team in the collection of information from Rental Customers
  • Quote Standard Rental Rates from Rental Rate Template
    • Collect customer information or direct customer to salesperson for additional information
  • Contact Customers after purchase of Truck / Equipment to introduce Parts and Service Team
  • Assist Service Mgr. with the monitoring and implementation of Remote Telematics system (tracking service needs on customer and rental machines)
  • Work with Parts and Service Team on additional projects as necessary
